Pooky's first appearance was on the 25th October 1978, when Garfield was searching through Jon's bottom drawer and found him just lying there. Garfield adopted him for his own, giving Jon a heart attack in the process.
Now Pooky goes everywhere with Garfield and if anyone does anything to him, well, umm, no-one ever really survived to tell what happened to them.

Garfield loves Pooky because:
1: Pooky always cheers him up
2: Pooky cant tell any of Garfield's secrets
3: Garfield doesn't have to share his food with Pooky and
4: Pooky is just soooo cute!
